Origin: Eastern United States
Metaphysical properties: Sassafras is a triple goddess tree, symbolized by the three different leaves it produces. Sassafras is useful in bringing about positive change.
Origin: Asia or Africa
Metaphysical Properties: Draws from the element of fire. Symbolizes power and strength. Used for vitality and control. Excellent for summoning and bonding magic. Powerful like Ebony, yet a little more difficult to control because of its constantly shifting energy, Padauk can be a potent healer in the right hands.
Morado Wood (Bolivian Rosewood)
Origin: Bolivia, South America, and Central America
Metaphysical properties: A feminine wood which draws off the element of fire. It is used for healing, spiritual rituals and love spells. Excellent for divination and scrying. Primarily feminine and highly spiritual, Bolivian Rosewood boosts intuition and is an excellent healer for non-physical ailments.
Origin: South America
Metaphysical properties: Seeks a wise and practiced companion of higher psychic ability. Use for protection, spirituality, success, and defense. Positive and creative, Purple Heart is valuable in eliminating negative energy. Excellent for divination.
Origin: Central and eastern parts of the United States
Metaphysical properties: A feminine wood. In touch with the element of earth. Used for cleansing and protection. Excellent for dispelling work. Used for teleportation, astral travel, weather working, avoiding lightening.
Origin: Southern regions of Tanzania and Mozambique
Metaphysical properties: Draws from the elements of earth and water. It’s six a companion of strength and versatility. When is most compatible with an owner who is in touch with nature. Used for defense and protection. Excellent for dispelling dark magic. Wenge is a powerful tool for meditation, helping one create a more balanced mood and centering thought.

Excellent for protection. Cedar is naturally resistant to pestilence and decay. Aromatic cedar is associated with wisdom and strength and these qualities aid the user in lifting the veil imposed upon our perception of reality.
Cedar(Western Red)-Pacific Northwest: Western red cedar is a life giver to the local Native Americans. It was used to provide shelter, create baskets for fishing and food gathering, medicinal purposes, and was even used as clothing.

Metaphysical properties:Highly protective, Maple helps to promote understanding, making it useful for beginners. Helps to dispel negative energies and to recover from traumatic events. Maple can appear to be "erratic", but it never strays far from center, leading you through and around obstacles as necessary to find your path of least resistance. A confident wood, but not extroverted.
Origin: South Central USA
Metaphysical Properties: Masculine, spirit, fire. Repels unwanted energies. Creates a strong bond with the mind and is not recommended for beginners, however once known and understood it can be a powerful ally.

Metaphysical Properties: Highly feminine in nature, excellent for lunar work fo work involving cycles. Promotes good fortune. Suitable for beginners, slightly protective. Works well for divination, and has an ability to patiently form a relationship with its holder.
