Cherry Quartz

Cherry quartz is the red variety a new (2016) find from Tanzania, also called Cherry Tanzurine (a trademarked name) and in my world, Hummingbird Quartz. It is an excellent polarity balancer when used in combination with the green variety, Emerald Quartz. For a complete description of its amazing properties, please see the Wisdom Circle blog post entitled  "Hummingbird Quartz--Joyful Balance".  The color of Cherry Quartz can vary from a  rich red/purple hue to a light pink. Smaller pieces tend to appear lighter. I have photographed it in natural and studio lighting to help to show true color as much as possible.
