Golden Thread Amethyst: The Enchanted Cousin from Piauí

Meet Golden Thread Amethyst, a remarkable and close cousin to Fascia Jasper. This beautiful material surfaced in March 2024, at the opposite end of the Fascia Jasper pocket, just across the state line between Bahia and Piauí.

You might recall  the surprise and excitement when Fascia Jasper began turning up with amethyst in 2022 (here's a blog about it!)  and it seems that Golden Thread Amethyst is final development of this trend. Even though it comes from the same area, and shares many common traits with Fascia Jasper,  it definitely has its own identity and properties.

The composition tells its own story: more complex than simple amethyst and agate, this material contains calcite like its Fascia Jasper relative, and possibly aragonite. And as  beautiful as it is in normal light, it is positively stunning under short wave UV lighting, showing bright green banding  and of course--golden threads.

The Name That Chose Itself

Initially, I called this material "Prima Encantada"—the enchanted cousin—because of its relationship to Fascia Jasper and the local miners' name of "enchanted quartz." But as the downloads began to come in, it gave the name Golden Thread Amethyst. As 2024 continued to unfold, golden threads and the purple flame became very active collectively and I began to understand why it gave this name. Leandro picked up on it as well--when his first inspiration came  to carve the Marys of the Sacred Purple Flame, he had a song in his head with lyrics that spoke of Mary weaving the threads of Christ's sacred  tunic in all colors, including gold. The golden threads of interconnectedness and the action of the mycelium carried over from Fascia Jasper have supported this find to its own unique place in our journey of evolution and ascension. 

Following the Trail of Discovery

This find emerged as a natural progression from the Fascia Jasper discovery. We'd seen the red collection first, then the black collection, then the amethyst inclusions. When the Golden Thread Amethyst appeared if felt like the icing on the cake. I was never able to obtain rough material for cutting, everything was taken directly from the mine to the cutter and then made available for purchase on the market. I secured all I could, and I did manage to get one raw nodule for Leandro to carve. It felt necessary to have a skull to pair with the Fascia Jasper Warrior skull he carved, which was the first piece of Fascia Jasper ever on his work bench. The family feels complete for now, with these two large skulls holding the energy and helping to bring everything forward the as journey continues to evolve.

Visions of Cells and Honeycomb

My first impression upon seeing this material was striking—it reminded me so much of fossil coral. Corals convey strong sense of community, and I was feeling that as well. Then came the vision of honeycomb structures. Again there was the sense of  community and cooperation around the hive and the bees. The cells of the honeycomb seemed very important. When the download completed, I understood: these formations were showing us our own cells!

In a beautiful synchronicity, my dear friend Tania Marie had been receiving similar downloads all day without either of us knowing. When we finally connected that evening and shared our experiences, everything clicked into place. The downloads accelerated, and a deep  understanding emerged.

Cellular Healing 

Tania's insights revealed that these crystals promote profound cellular healing and recoding, working directly with our DNA and cellular matrix. Perhaps the most profound realization is this: Golden Thread Amethyst isn't giving us something external. It's providing the keys to unlock what's already here, what's already within us. Because WE are the keys. WE hold the keys. We ARE the keys to our own destiny.
