CARE & KEEPING

Green Aventurine is quartz, so it's a sturdy, low-maintenance stone. It won't fade in sunlight, and it isn't damaged by water.

This chip necklace covers the heart chakra nicely whether it is more as a single or a double strand, placing it exactly where it needs to be for you to benefit the most from its properties.

It's good practice to energetically cleanse your jewelry regularly, especially after wearing it through a stressful or emotionally demanding stretch of time. Smudging, sound, or Reiki are all lovely ways to do this.

After cleansing, charging in moonlight or on a selenite slab are safe and effective ways to refresh and energize all crystals, regardless of light sensitivity.

METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Green Aventurine is a stone of luck and opportunity, and is typically the one people reach for when they're stepping into something new: a business, a relationship, or a fresh start in general. It carries an easy-going, friendly energy, gentle and steady, which makes it a great companion for anyone who is just beginning to work with crystals.

It's associated with the heart chakra and, traditionally, used to support emotional calm and compassion. It helps to ease old disappointments and loosen the grip of old patterns. It is also linked to confidence and steady motivation, that kind of support that helps you keep moving through a setback.

Traditionally, it's also been associated with supporting the heart and circulation, though, as with all crystal properties, this is an energetic tradition and not medical guidance.
