This 36" necklace of naturally shaped lapis lazuli chips is strung on monofilament and perfect for everyday wear. I love chip necklaces because you can dress them up or dress them down according to your needs or mood, and they are a lot of rock for not a lot of money.

Lapis Lazuli is a stone of truth and wisdom, prized for thousands of years for its deep blue color and flecks of golden pyrite. It's beautiful worn on its own, or paired with malachite to bridge the third eye and heart — connecting clear insight with an open heart.

Lapis Lazuli is actually a rock rather than a single mineral — a blend of lazurite, calcite, and pyrite, making it a bit soft and somewhat porous. Avoid soaking it in water, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight, as both can affect its color and surface over time. A soft, dry cloth is best for everyday cleaning.

Lapis connects primarily to the third eye and throat chakras, so as a necklace it's perfectly located to support clear, honest expression whenever you need to speak your mind. A grounding stone such as black tourmaline or smoky quartz may be a helpful pairing to integrate its energies effectively.

It's good practice to energetically cleanse your jewelry regularly, especially after wearing it through a stressful or emotionally demanding stretch of time. Smudging, sound, or Reiki are all lovely ways to do this.

After cleansing, charging in moonlight or on a selenite slab are safe and effective ways to refresh and energize all crystals, regardless of light sensitivity.
