Azurite Blueberries

These Azurite blueberries from Utah are so cute! These are quite large compared to most that I am seeing available right now, so I have made grid sets from the smaller  sizes and put the others up as individuals.  The grid sets are evenly matched single nodules.  The larger sizes are great as pocket rocks🫐

Azurite is copper carbonate mineral that is found in various shades of blue. It is commonly associated with chrysocolla and malachite. It is said to activate and unlock the third eye and crown, creating a link between the two chakras.  Azurite is considered to be a premier stone for psychic development  and enhancing inner vision. It is said to raise mental awareness and intellect to assist in cleansing the mind to alleviate negative thoughts, bad habits, and addictions.

Please use caution around children with these, they are so pretty it may be tempting for little ones to put them in their mouth. They have a very high copper content, which can be toxic internally or if the dust from lapidary cutting is inhaled.

Please see the photographs for detail. The pieces in my hand are the 3 gram size, approximately 13 mm.   They are shown wet and dry. Please note, these have a wide variety of shapes! The photographs are representative of the group. I will choose for you.
